What is Craic?

Irish word for fun/enjoyment that has been brought into the English language. usu. when mixed with alcohol and/or music.

‘Bhi craic agus ceol againn’ : We had fun and music.

Fun doesn’t really cut it though. General banter, good times had by all. Also, a person who is good fun/great company.

Our Brief History

Opened on August 23rd in time for a great Parkville Days weekend, Lots of family and friends and much of Parkville came to see us for our opening.The weather was great so we were able to open our front windows while local musicians kept the crowd swaying(or was it the whiskey?).In our first week, we sold more Guinness than we expected to sell in our first month so Slainte! to all who came and helped us celebrate our arrival.Over the next month, we will introduce a few food menu items each week as well as solidifying our bar options.Once we have that squared away, look for our Grand Opening event….See you soon around downtown Parkville.

Some History About Our Building:

Our location, originally constructed in the 1927, served as Parkville’s first US Post Office. We remodeled it into a comfortable and welcoming space on Main St that will offer the community a new inviting place to eat, drink, and gather.
